I've tried keeping a blog before but never commited to it, didn't really have the time, or just didn't have a lot to say. I'm determined to keep it going this time! Plus, being a new mom and wife gives you so much to talk about!
The purpose for me writing this is to have a place to share my joy for all God has blessed me with and to just have a place to store some of my thoughts outside of my head!
Being so young, I have a lot to learn. The people you place around you can have a lot of influence on just exactly what you learn. I'm so grateful to God that he has given us a place to gather and worship him that just so happens to be full of AMAZING people that I'm so excited to learn from. In our Biblical Parenting class, Ryan and I were asked to share our life stories next Wednesday so I'll probably reflect on that here as well.
I look forward to the journey ahead of me, all I have yet to learn, and documenting it all here!
In closing I just want to share some of the things I'm thankful for this morning. Ryan got up with Elijah this morning and let me sleep a little longer. Walking into the living room I saw the beautiful red tulips Ryan got me for our love day. The beautiful smile on my baby's face. Listening to the soundtrack from "O' Brother Where Art Though" as Elijah coos along with the music. Thinking about ordering GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!!!! My cat still has the pink bow on I tied around his neck for love day. The fact that I can safely and freely open my Holy Bible and read Genisis this morning.
